The Katuro Asama bowl is one of the least hollow and most economical bowls in the Katuro range. This glazed clay bowl will only consume a maximum of 12 grams of tobacco. Why such a reduced consumption? The Katuro Asama is specially designed to enjoy the most nicotine-rich tobaccos, such as dark tobaccos or WAYS tobacco with strong nicotine booster. By using a small amount of tobacco, this bowl will prevent the nicotine effect from being too strong for your throat and will allow you to enjoy a powerful buzz while perfectly preserving the flavors.

Ideally, the Katuro Asama should be used with a Provost-type heating system to offer fine heat management. The most experienced preparers can also place micro coals directly on a thick aluminum foil, or use a Brohood chimney screen turned upside down to place their charcoal. The Katuro Asama bowl is particularly recommended for enjoying tobaccos from brands such as Tangiers, Trifecta, Darkside Tobacco, or WAYS with a nicotine booster of 19 mg/g.

The Asama bowl is made by the master potters of Katuro from specially selected clay for shisha tobacco cooking. This dense clay is solidified by waterproof glazes applied manually to each bowl. The result is a bowl that, while compact, offers a pleasing sense of solidity with an average weight of between 225 and 250 grams. Each bowl is stamped with the Katuro brand logo, certifying its authenticity and fully artisanal character. Katuro bowls are handcrafted through a fully artisanal process.
